About Turbo Innovate
Turbo Innovate, powered by Omni Sync Incorporated
, is an AI enabled deep tech commercialization platform helping organizations move innovation from bench to market
.
We work across the innovation ecosystem, including startups, universities, corporations, investors, and government agencies, to help promising technologies find the funding, markets, partners, and commercialization pathways they need to reach the real world.
For startups, that can mean identifying government funding opportunities, developing competitive SBIR/STTR proposals, building fundraising strategies, finding investors and strategic partners, or determining the right market and commercialization pathway.
For corporations and innovation organizations, it can mean scouting emerging technologies, evaluating commercial opportunities, identifying promising assets, and helping turn those opportunities into new products or ventures.
Turbo Innovate provides AI enabled tools for technology and market intelligence, funding discovery, investor and partner scouting, proposal development, and commercialization research.
But commercialization isn't something software can do by itself.
It requires someone who can understand the science, understand the market, identify what's missing, develop a strategy, and help bring together the capital, partners, people, and evidence necessary to move an innovation forward.
That's where you come in.
The RoleWe're hiring a Commercialization Scientist to help scientists, founders, and innovation organizations turn promising technologies into fundable, investable, and commercially viable opportunities
.
You'll become deeply familiar with technologies across different areas of science and engineering and help determine the best pathway for moving them forward.
That pathway might involve:
- Non dilutive funding: Identifying government grants and contracts, developing funding strategies, and supporting competitive SBIR/STTR and other proposals.
- Venture funding: Developing the investment story, refining pitch materials and fundraising strategies, and identifying relevant investors.
- Strategic partnerships: Identifying corporations, research collaborators, commercialization partners, licensees, and other organizations that can accelerate development.
- Technology commercialization: Evaluating markets, applications, competition, technical risks, and pathways from research to product.
- Venture building: Helping evaluate promising technologies and potentially developing new ventures around high potential assets.
The person who succeeds in this role will be comfortable moving between science, strategy, funding, markets, and venture building, often within the same project.
You'll also have access to Turbo Innovate's AI powered research, intelligence, scouting, and content development tools.
We expect you to use AI. We don't expect you to outsource your judgment to it.
AI can research, draft, and analyze. Your job is to understand the innovation well enough to determine what should actually happen next and help make it happen.
What You'll Do- Develop commercialization strategies. Work directly with scientists, founders, and innovation teams to understand their technologies, identify commercialization barriers, and develop practical pathways from technical development to market.
- Understand the science. Get sufficiently deep into unfamiliar technologies to understand what's novel, why it matters, what evidence exists, what technical risks remain, and what needs to happen next.
- Build non dilutive funding strategies. Identify government grants, contracts, and other funding opportunities and determine how they fit into a company's broader technical and commercial roadmap.
- Develop competitive proposals. Support SBIR/STTR and other government proposals by combining client technical expertise, scientific writing, commercialization strategy, and Turbo Innovate's AI enabled tools.
- Support fundraising. Help startups articulate their investment story, develop and refine pitch materials, identify relevant investors, and think strategically about fundraising.
- Identify strategic partners. Find corporations, investors, researchers, government organizations, and other partners that could materially accelerate an innovation.
- Develop the…
