We are a high-end design-build construction company specializing in custom residential construction and remodels across San Diego and surrounding areas. Position Overview

The Job site Foreman leads daily on‑site operations, (hands on, bags on), working with, and overseeing the crew, training new crew, assigning tasks, maintaining quality, safety, and cleanliness, and coordinating with subcontractors. This role requires a solid background in high end residential construction, strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to keep projects on schedule while working closely with the field team, PM's, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all day‑to‑day site operations and personnel
  • Coordinate with subcontractors onsite and ensure timely execution of work
  • Ensure safety protocols, cleanliness standards, and site protection measures
  • Conduct daily walk‑throughs and quality control checks
  • Communicate regularly with the Project Manager to report progress and issues
  • Ensure materials and tools are available and used properly
  • Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
  • Maintain detailed job site daily logs, and photo documentation
  • Resolve on‑site conflicts and communicate with Project Management to adapt schedules as needed
  • Represent the company professionally to clients, inspectors, and vendors
Qualifications
  • Minimum 10 years of hands‑on residential construction experience
  • 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
  • Deep understanding of construction sequencing, materials, and codes
  • Ability to read and interpret plans, specs, and scopes of work
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Professional communication and problem‑solving abilities
  • Proficient with smartphones, tablets, and basic construction apps
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation
