Position Overview

We’re looking for a social-obsessed storyteller who lives and breathes content — someone scrappy, proactive, and always in motion. You get the Blenders vibe: bold, fast, everyday utility, culturally tuned-in.

As our Sr. Social Media Manager, you’ll own the day-to-day strategy, content, and community for Blenders Eyewear across all social platforms, including helping us relaunch and reinvigorate our Tik Tok presence. You’re equal parts strategist, creator, and editor, with the ability to concept, produce, and optimize content that feels native, drives engagement, and builds brand heat.

What You’ll Do Strategy & Ideation
  • Develop and execute platform-specific strategies that grow awareness, engagement, and sales.
  • Lead the Tik Tok relaunch: strategy, tone, content pillars, posting cadence, and growth plan.
  • Build platform and content strategies that scale across Instagram, Facebook, Tik Tok, You Tube, Linked In and emerging channels.
  • Partner with Marketing & Creative to concept content that keeps Blenders culturally relevant.
  • Spot trends early and translate them into ideas that fit the Blenders voice.
  • Own a dynamic content calendar across launches, campaigns, and always-on moments.
  • Run test-and-learn pilots to evolve formats, hooks, and social-commerce opportunities.
Content Creation & Execution
  • Create, shoot, edit, and publish high-quality, social-first content — day in and day out.
  • Produce content ranging from HQ campaign cutdowns → quick POVs → product demos → UGC-style storytelling.
  • Write punchy, fun, human copy that matches our tone.
  • Hands‑on editing (Adobe Creative Cloud, Final Cut, Cap Cut, Canva, etc.) to produce scroll‑stopping video photo content.
  • Brief, direct, and collaborate with UGC creators and production partners.
Creator & Influencer Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Community & Culture (Athletes, Influencers, etc) team to identify and co‑create with creators, ambassadors, and affiliates.
  • Provide creative direction for UGC that aligns to platform needs and performance goals.
  • Ensure creator content feels native, fun, and conversion‑ready.
Community Management
  • Lead daily engagement: comments, D, and real‑time conversations that build real relationships.
  • Build authentic connections with fans, influencers, and partners.
  • Track and respond to cultural and community conversations in real time.
Commerce & Social Performance
  • Leverage Instagram Shopping, Tik Tok Shop, and social‑commerce features to drive conversion.
  • Partner with eComm Paid teams to align organic content with paid strategy and amplify winners.
  • Analyze KPIs: reach, engagement, follower growth, traffic, conversion — and translate insights into next steps.
  • Benchmark against competitors and identify whitespace opportunities.
Collaboration & Leadership
  • Work cross‑functionally with Marketing, Creative, Product, Retail and Digital teams to deliver integrated moments.
  • Manage content timelines, approvals, and delivery with excellence and speed.
Skills & Experience
  • Experience leading social for lifestyle, fashion, or consumer brands.
  • A builder — you don’t wait for direction; you make things happen.
  • Proven ability to grow communities and drive social‑led commerce.
  • Experienced working directly with creators, influencers, and affiliates.
  • Hands‑on creative with a strong eye for design, storytelling, and video editing.
  • Excellent copywriter with a flexible tone of voice.

Data‑curious — you use insights to make creative smarter.
  • Up‑to‑date on trends, platform updates, and the evolving creator economy.
  • Highly organized, adaptable, and thrives in a fast‑paced environment.
Work Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
  • Hybrid role: onsite in our San Diego HQ 3–4 days per week.
  • Flexibility to attend shoots, events, or activations outside standard hours.
  • Typical hours:
    Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM — 4:30 PM.
