Summary
We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Video Editor/Animator to join our contingent workforce team at Qualcomm Inc. In this on‑call/as‑needed role, you will be responsible for producing high‑quality video content, animations, and multimedia assets for various projects and platforms. You must be highly proficient in editing with Adobe Premiere Pro, demonstrating strong storytelling and technical skills. Candidates should be able to take full ownership of multimedia projects, managing all phases from concept through final delivery with minimal supervision.
A proactive mindset and commitment to seeing projects through to completion are essential. You will collaborate with designers, producers, editors, and clients to deliver engaging and visually compelling content that aligns with Qualcomm's vision and production standards.
Note:
This is not full‑time employment at Qualcomm Inc. It is an on‑call/as‑needed position through our staffing agency to support video production projects.
- Collaborate with producers, designers, and clients to understand project goals, objectives, and specifications.
- Plan and execute all aspects of video production and animation projects.
- Edit video footage and integrate motion graphics, 2D/3D animations, and illustrations into multimedia content.
- Design and produce 2D and 3D animation and illustration content for videos and presentations.
- Apply best practices in design and storytelling, including color theory, typography, layout, and composition.
- Ensure all multimedia content meets Qualcomm's quality standards and brand guidelines.
- Use industry‑standard software and tools such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects), Blender, Cinema 4D, and REDCINE‑X Pro.
- Stay current with modern techniques, technology, and industry trends to deliver innovative solutions.
- Support multimedia production workflows, including software updates and plug‑in management.
- Maintain consistency and quality across multiple platforms and devices.
- Proficient in video post‑production and animation techniques.
- Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere, After Effects); familiarity with 3D tools such as Blender or Cinema 4D.
- Creative and artistic with a keen eye for detail and aesthetics.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work effectively in a team and with clients.
- Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage deadlines under pressure.
- Ability to work nights and weekends as needed.
- Associate degree in film, multimedia design, animation, or related field required.
- Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in film or multimedia preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in video editing, animation, or multimedia design.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
