DESCRIPTION

The Department of Urology provides the highest quality urologic care, research, and education. The Department provides general urologic and subspecialty care in urology oncology, infertility and andrology, women's pelvic medicine and voiding dysfunction, urinary stone disease and endourology, reconstructive urology and urologic trauma and pediatric urology. The urology clinical program consists of over 20 faculty members, 5 fellows and 15 residents, 9 APPs and conducts ambulatory outpatient care in 7 clinical sites.

The Department of Urology is seeking a skilled and motivated Sr. Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team and support the inpatient urology service. This role will focus on discharge planning, inpatient and emergency department consultations, and the management of urology inpatients in collaboration with the resident and attending teams. In addition to inpatient responsibilities, the PA will provide ambulatory support by evaluating acute urologic concerns—particularly post-operative and post-discharge patients—to improve access and continuity of care.

Responsibilities may evolve over time based on the needs and priorities of the department.

While not required, a cover letter is highly recommended when applying to this position.
