Position: Urgent Care Physician Opportunities- Flexible Schedules-Shareholder Track-San Diego, CA

Urgent Care Physician opportunities in Sunny San Diego, California. Locations include Chula Vista, Otay Ranch, Downtown, Rancho Bernardo, Sorrento Mesa, and Santee.

Compensation & Benefits
  • Hourly rate $147–$163 + wRVU incentives and group bonuses
  • 200 hours paid vacation per year for first 2 years
  • 40 hours paid sick time and 40 hours paid CME time annually
  • 2‑year shareholder track
  • Profit‑sharing, 401(k), and sign‑on bonus
  • Paid malpractice and liability coverage
  • No overnight shifts
  • Public Service Loan Forgiveness eligible
Clinical Scope
  • Full‑scope, high‑acuity, procedural shift work
  • Practice emergency‑based medicine
  • All sites open 365 days/year, 8 AM–8 PM
  • Shift options: 6‑, 8‑, 10‑, and 12‑hour shifts
  • Average patient volume 2.5 patients/hour
  • In‑house lab, radiology, and pharmacy at each site
Responsibilities
  • Provide urgent, acute, and procedural care to patients in an urgent care setting
  • Maintain high quality clinical documentation and adherence to EMR standards
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and support staff
  • Participate in practice management and education activities as required
Qualifications
  • Board certification or eligibility in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine/Pediatrics
  • Certification required within first 2 years of employment
  • Valid medical license in California
  • Excellent communication and patient‑centered care skills
  • Ability to work flexible shift schedule, including 12‑hour shifts
