Role

As a Hospice Team Physician, you will provide essential clinical and administrative oversight for our hospice patients, ensuring compliance with Medicare regulations and maintaining high standards of care. Your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Services:
    • Act as the physician designee when the Medical Director is unavailable.
    • Provide clinical guidance to hospice staff and support patient care needs.
  • Patient Responsibilities:
    • Review and document clinical information for hospice patients.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to establish and review care plans.
    • Conduct home visits for clinical guidance and care plan adjustments.
    • Educate hospice staff through formal and informal in-services.
What We’re Looking For

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

  • Medical degree with a valid license to practice in California.
  • Experience in hospice or palliative care is preferred.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate end-of-life care.
