Middle School Boys Lacrosse Coach – Francis Parker School

Francis Parker School (Parker) is a coeducational independent day school in San Diego, California, with 1,330 students in Junior Kindergarten through Grade 12. Founded in 1912, the school’s mission is “to create and inspire a diverse community of independent thinkers whose academic excellence, global perspective, and strength of character prepare them to make a meaningful difference in the world.” Parker has two campuses: one in Mission Hills (Lower School, Junior Kindergarten‑Grade 5) and a second in Linda Vista (Middle and Upper School, Grades 6‑12).

The school is seeking a Middle School Boys Lacrosse Coach. The coach will oversee supervision and coordination of practices for the middle school boys lacrosse team.

Supervise and coordinate lacrosse practices and game-day activities. Provide effective coaching techniques appropriate for middle school student-athletes. Maintain a professional demeanor and strong communication skills. Collaborate with other staff as a team player.

• Previous successful coaching experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to implement effective coaching techniques appropriate for middle school student-athletes.
• Professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and teamwork.
• CPR and First-Aid Certified (or willing to obtain certification upon hire).

Spring 2023–2026 (February 27 – June 8 2026)

Flexible schedule. Students practice during a rotated block designated for physical education.

This is a seasonal/part-time position paying $17.75 per hour. No benefits are offered.
