Behavior Technician - Afterschool Program

The Part time Behavior Technician

The Part time Behavior Technician works to facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs and collaborates with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age

• Work directly with students to implement behavioral support plans
• Assist in developing social, communication, and academic skills
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to ensure student success
• Provide one-on-one or small group support in classroom and school settings

After school program typically starts around 2pm and goes to 6pm. Schedule can vary.
