The OpportunityWe’re hiring a Project Development Associate to join our fast-growing development team.
This is an exciting early-career role for a motivated individual who wants to work at the intersection of energy, infrastructure, and technology.
You’ll support all phases of project development - from early site diligence through permitting, power interconnection, and commercial execution.
What You’ll Do✅ Conduct due diligence on prospective project sites, utilities, and landowners.
✅ Support site acquisition, land-use planning, and entitlement activities (zoning, permits, environmental studies).
✅ Manage project trackers, schedules, and budgets across multiple development sites.
✅ Prepare presentations, investment memos, and project documentation.
✅ Coordinate with engineering, permitting, and commercial teams to maintain project momentum.
✅ Interface with consultants, utilities, and local agencies as part of the development process.
✅ Track regional policy, infrastructure, and market trends in energy and digital infrastructure.
What You Bring- 2–4 years of experience in project development, site selection, or permitting for energy, power generation, or data center projects.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with utility interconnection, zoning, and environmental review processes.
- Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and mapping tools (GIS, Google Earth, etc.).
- Experience and interest in integrating the latest AI tools in daily work streams.
- Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field.
- Passion for energy, infrastructure, and technology.
