The Area Technical Lead is a full-time technical position that supports and offers a technical escalation path for our field team of Project Managers and Engineers. You will support efforts for projects of all sizes in new construction or retrofit environments within our focus markets. As the Area Technical Lead, you will be responsible for driving standards of design, programming, commissioning, training across a portfolio of projects.
You are expected to be a subject matter expert one of the BAS platforms we support. (Schneider Electric, Siemens and Tridium)
- Pay Range: $120,000 – $150,000

- Technical execution of implementation of building automation and energy management solutions
- Responsible for engineered design standards to support plan / spec and retrofit projects
- Review submittals and ensure they meet the intent of project plans, specifications, and contract documents.
- Support the lead project engineer with programming, start-up, and commissioning
- Develop programming of systems to execute complex sequence of operations for efficient operation of critical equipment
- Training of clients on and act as the technical expert
- Review our turnover package and close out documentation on all assigned projects
- Maintain quality with our subcontractors and to ensure the installation is to our standards
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, preferred
- TCP/IP network infrastructure knowledge, preferred
- Ability to read/interpret electrical circuit diagrams, preferred
- 5+ Years Experience in the following areas of Building Automation Systems:
- Engineering
- Programming
- Commissioning
- Proficient in Schneider Electric, Siemens and/or Tridium
- Integration to 3rd party systems via BACnet, Modbus or OPC
- Understanding of relay logic, digital and analog I/Os, and troubleshooting practices
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Proficient communication skills in the English language
- Qualified applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States
- Must be 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with limited violations
