Optical-Laser Assembler​/Technician

Job Description:

• Looking for Electromechanically system level build and troubleshooting experience.

Responsibilities:

• Performs the build, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of mechanical assemblies at a system level.

• Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams.

• May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems because of testing.

• Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems.

• Lift 50 lb requirement

Experience:

• Typically requires a minimum of 2 - 4 years of related experience.

• Looking for a person with strong mechanical, electrical and software sills.

• Optical skills + in relation to understanding concave/convex mirrors.

• Test fixture to do a functional test and ability to troubleshoot assemblies a must.

• Class 100 clean room wearing laser goggles.

Education:

• An AA degree, military technical training or their equivalent vocational training is required.
