The Mechanical Engineer will design, test, and validate all aspects of mechanical equipment and machinery. From concept through production, this role ensures cutting-edge design, manufacturability, and reliability that push the limits of what’s possible.

• Take ownership of projects from concept to production.
• Create and manage prints for parts, assemblies, and bills of materials (BOMs).
• Perform assembly-level tolerance and stack-up analysis.
• Make quick, educated decisions to overcome design and manufacturing issues.
• Collaborate with peers to solve complex design and manufacturing problems.
• Build and verify designs during the R&D phase.
• Create testing and validation procedures for products in production.
• Generate assembly instructions and assist in marketing product information.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in precision tooling and mechanical design.
• Strong understanding of GD&T per ASME Y14.5-2009 standards.
• Expertise in DFM, DFC, and DFA with a focus on CNC milling and turning.
• Solid modeling proficiency (Solid Works strongly preferred).
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of granite top measurement tools and familiarity with hand tools.
• Insight into the inner workings of a machine shop.
• Automation experience is a plus!
