The Systems Integration Department is charged with identifying, developing, and applying new technologies that can address the Government’s most challenging Systems Engineering problems. This is an opportunity for experienced engineers who are highly motivated, innovative, and proactive. This position provides challenging opportunities to apply and expand one’s architecture modeling and system integration skillsets. Areas of interest include Model Based Engineering (MBSE, MDA, MDD, MDE), Systems of Systems, architecture modeling, analysis of complex systems, and decision support.
Job Responsibilities:Model architectures of complex systems using standards-based frameworks and languages (e.g. UAF, SysML, UML).
Design and develop prototypes, dashboards and/or plugins using Java, Python, and related programming languages.
Assist in evaluating architectures using qualitative and quantitative techniques.
Must be a student enrolled full-time in an accredited degree-seeking program in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering or a related degree and continue to be enrolled full-time the semester following the internship.
Familiarity with a programming or technical computing language such as Python or MATLAB.
Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Systems Integration, or related systems modeling and architecture concepts.
U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain the required U.S. government security clearance
This position requires a minimum of 4 days a week on-site.
- Academic, project, or internship experience with systems engineering, analysis, modeling and simulation, software development, or a related technical area.

Salary compensation range and midpoint:$46,500 - $58,000 - $69,500 Annual
