Position Overview

We’re seeking a hands‑on Electrical Engineer to own the end‑to‑end design and development of complex PCB assemblies for robotics, aerospace, defense, autonomous systems, and other high‑reliability hardware applications.

Responsibilities

Own PCB designs from schematic capture and layout through fabrication, assembly, bring‑up, and validation
Design complex PCB assemblies using Altium Designer
Debug and troubleshoot PCBAs using standard lab equipment
Make design trade‑offs across performance, reliability, manufacturability, thermal, packaging, cost, and schedule
Work closely with mechanical, firmware, software, manufacturing, and systems teams
Support hardware integration, testing, root‑cause analysis, and design improvements

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
Master's or PhD preferred
3-5+ years in electrical hardware development for robotics, aerospace, defense, automotive, medical devices, drones/UAS, industrial equipment, or other complex hardware
1+ year of full‑time, in‑house experience at an early‑stage hardware startup required
Strong hands‑on PCB design experience using Altium Designer
Experience taking complex PCBAs through the full design, fabrication, assembly, bring‑up, and test lifecycle
Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment with evolving requirements and significant hands‑on ownership

Security Clearance & Eligibility Requirements

U.S. Citizenship: Required by government regulations as a prerequisite for clearance eligibility.
Clearance Level: Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
Current Status: Holding an active clearance is not required to apply. Candidates with a current or active Secret or Top Secret clearance are highly encouraged to apply.
