We are partnering with a highly respected, financially strong specialty insurance organization seeking an experienced Senior Property Loss Control Professional to join its growing Loss Control team.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned Property Risk Engineer or Loss Control professional who enjoys evaluating complex industrial property exposures, identifying potential loss scenarios, and developing practical solutions to protect critical infrastructure.

The position focuses on power generation facilities, electric utilities and other energy-related operations
, offering the opportunity to work with sophisticated insureds and collaborate closely with underwriting and engineering professionals.

• Conduct comprehensive property loss control assessments of power generation, utility and energy-related facilities.
• Evaluate complex property exposures involving fire, explosion, natural catastrophes, and equipment-related hazards.
• Identify potential loss scenarios and recommend engineering solutions to reduce the frequency and severity of losses.
• Review fire protection systems, including automatic sprinklers, fire detection, suppression systems, and water supplies.
• Assess property construction, occupancy, protection, and exposure characteristics.
• Evaluate natural catastrophe exposures, including windstorm, flood, earthquake, and severe weather.
• Develop detailed property risk engineering reports, recommendations, and loss prevention strategies.
• Partner with underwriting teams to evaluate property risks and support informed underwriting decisions.
• Build strong relationships with insureds and serve as a trusted technical resource.
• Independently manage complex engineering assignments and contribute to the continued development of property loss control programs.

• 8+ years of progressive experience in Property Loss Control, Property Risk Engineering, or related risk management disciplines.
• Experience evaluating property risks associated with power generation, electric utilities, energy infrastructure, or heavy industrial facilities
  .
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Fire Protection, Science, Risk Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong technical understanding of fire protection engineering, property all-risk exposures, and natural hazards.
• Working knowledge of NFPA codes and standards and applicable fire protection principles.
• Experience developing technical recommendations and communicating complex engineering concepts to clients and underwriters.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple assignments and building relationships with key stakeholders.
