As we continue to grow nationwide, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Analyst to join our team.
The Compliance Analyst will play a key role in ensuring Griffin Funding remains in full compliance with state and federal regulations. This person will be responsible for managing all aspects of loan officer (LO) licensing
, coordinating with our third-party compliance team
, and assisting with state exams and regulatory reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Manage licensing and renewals for all loan officers and company branches across multiple states.
Oversee the NMLS portal, ensuring all information is accurate and up to date.
Coordinate with loan officers to obtain required documentation and resolve deficiencies.
Communicate with state regulators and licensing agencies as needed.
Serve as a liaison between Griffin Funding and our third-party compliance partner.
Support responses and documentation during state and federal exams.
Track and ensure completion of compliance audits and internal reviews.
Prepare and submit required reports (e.g., MCR, HMDA, and other state-level filings).
Maintain a compliance calendar to ensure timely submission of all reports.
Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accuracy and completeness of regulatory data.
Assist in maintaining and updating compliance policies, procedures, and reference materials.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and strengthen compliance processes.
2+ years of experience in mortgage compliance, licensing, or regulatory operations.
Strong understanding of NMLS systems and state licensing procedures.
Knowledge of MCR, HMDA, and other compliance reporting preferred.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Proficiency in Excel, Google Workspace, and compliance tracking systems.
