Loan Processor – Cross Country Mortgage San Diego, CA (On Site Preferred)

We are looking for a highly experienced, detail‑driven, and motivated Mortgage Loan Processor to join our top producing team at Cross Country Mortgage. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced pipeline, communicates proactively, solves problems early, and is passionate about delivering a five‑star borrower experience.

• Own loan files from submission through funding with precision and urgency
• Review, request, and process borrower documentation and loan conditions
• Ensure all files meet company, agency, and investor guidelines
• Communicate proactively with borrowers, loan officers, underwriters, escrow and title teams, and real estate agents
• Maintain complete and accurate notes in Encompass and CRM systems such as Jungo or Salesforce
• Keep the pipeline organized and moving by following up early and often
• Identify potential issues and escalate appropriately to ensure smooth closings

• A minimum of 4 years of current mortgage loan processing experience and actively processing today
• Recent experience in retail mortgage processing
• Strong proficiency in Encompass
• Excellent understanding of FHA, VA, Conventional, and investor guidelines
• Experience managing high‑volume purchase pipelines
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• A solutions‑first mindset with the ability to problem‑solve and prioritize

$60,000 to $95,000

Exact compensation depends on experience and pipeline capacity.
