San Diego (Clairemont / UTC area) | On-Site | Full-Time

Compensation: $170K–$250K+ DOE + up to $20K Relocation

A well-established, growing wealth management and tax firm is moving quickly to hire a Senior Tax Leader ahead of the upcoming tax season. This is a rare leadership opportunity with a clearly defined path to partnership tied to an upcoming partner retirement.

The firm provides integrated tax, wealth management, and advisory services to high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses. Following the recent acquisition of a CPA practice in the central San Diego area, they are seeking a proven leader to oversee and manage this office.

• Lead and manage a 10–15 person tax team
• Oversee complex tax engagements for HNW individuals and businesses
• Serve as the primary leader for the San Diego office
• Mentor and develop staff while maintaining high technical standards
• Play a key role in succession planning and long-term growth

• Active CPA required
• 8+ years of progressive tax experience
• Strong leadership and client-facing capabilities
• Stable career progression (no frequent moves)
• Long-term mindset with interest in equity / partnership

• Fast-track to Partner with a defined leadership transition
• Competitive compensation: $150K–$220K+, higher for the right candidate
• Up to $20K relocation assistance
