Sr. Health Consulting Actuary - Hybrid

Our client is looking for a Health Consulting Actuary which will provide consulting services to multiemployer, private, and public sector clients. The ideal candidate is a health FSA with strong experience in health care consulting, client management, and actuarial review.

• Present complex actuarial results clearly to clients and provide solutions to challenging issues.
• Manage multiple projects, budgets, and deadlines while delivering high-quality results.
• Advise on employer-sponsored health care, compliance requirements (ACA, No Surprises Act), and vendor management (insurance carriers, PBMs, niche providers).
• Perform and review active health and retiree medical valuations, pricing, projections, and related analyses.
• Lead client meetings, maintain relationships, oversee contracts/invoicing, and mentor staff.

• FSA with extensive health care consulting experience.
• Skilled in active health and welfare plans, retiree medical valuations, and actuarial review.
• Strong communicator, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proven ability to manage complex projects, clients, and teams.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; experience with Access, SQL, Power BI, or Tableau a plus.
• Business development experience preferred.
• Client travel required.
