Role:
Lead global tax function for biopharma company, overseeing corporate income tax, indirect tax, transfer pricing, and tax planning across markets.
- develop tax strategies to reduce effective tax rates
- manage tax compliance and reporting (including ASC 740-10)
- direct transfer pricing policies
- support international expansion
- maximize R&D tax credits
- oversee audits and indirect tax obligations
- Lead a high-performing team, collaborate with finance, legal, and external advisors, and ensure compliance with global tax regulations
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance
- CPA or Master's in Tax
- 15+ years in corporate tax with at least 10 years in senior leadership
- extensive knowledge of federal, international, and multi-state tax laws
- proficiency in tax software, ERP systems, and GxP controls
- senior leadership in tax for a biopharma with a focus on R&D incentives, international tax planning, and compliance
- experience supporting global operations, legal entity structuring, and SOX documentation
- flexible with travel up to 25%
