THE OPPORTUNITY Responsible for developing and managing a portfolio of primarily private clients. Performs all duties in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the Company operates.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE A DIFFERENCEDevelop and manage a portfolio of primarily privately held business clients, ranging from complex credits to deposit-only relationships, and act as lead negotiator with prospects and clients.
Grow revenue by prospecting for new business and retaining and expanding existing client relationships through interest income, fee income, and cash management revenue.
Provide financial advice to clients and identify and sell appropriate bank products and services to prospects and clients.
Build strong relationships with referral sources and centers of influence.
Structure and underwrite credits jointly with Loan Portfolio Managers.
Operate a computer terminal or personal computer to process account activity, determine balances, and resolve problems within established authority.
Answer in-person, telephone, or email questions from clients and staff and direct inquiries to the appropriate Company personnel when necessary.
Assume responsibility for various department functions during staff absences or high-volume situations.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of twelve years of experience in sales or relationship management.
Advanced skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation, mainframe computer systems, word processing, spreadsheets, and specialty software programs.
Intermediate knowledge of applicable state and federal banking compliance regulations governing lending, including fair lending, privacy, and RESPA, as well as Company operational policies, procedures, products, and services.
