Credit Operations Specialist
Full-time | Remote
Annual base salary: $68,000-$85,000
About the RoleKeep credit processes accurate, organized, and moving forward. This remote Credit Operations Specialist role supports credit application processing, documentation review, account maintenance, and operational reporting.
You will help ensure that complete, reliable information reaches authorized decision-makers and that requests are handled consistently. The role is suited to an experienced operations professional who values accuracy, service, and sound controls.
Key Responsibilities- Review credit application packages for completeness and request missing documentation.
- Verify and update customer and account information in approved systems.
- Track applications, pending items, and service deadlines from intake through resolution.
- Prepare organized documentation for authorized credit review and approval.
- Coordinate with credit, finance, sales, and customer service teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Reconcile operational records and prepare status and exception reports.
- Follow established privacy, recordkeeping, and credit-processing procedures.
- Identify recurring process issues and recommend practical improvements.
- Relevant experience in credit operations, lending support, banking operations, or financial administration.
- Strong accuracy when reviewing financial documents and maintaining account records.
- Working knowledge of spreadsheets and operational reporting.
- Ability to manage deadlines and communicate professionally about missing or inconsistent information.
- Respect for confidentiality and established approval authority.
- Ability to follow documented controls and escape exceptions appropriately.
