Description
Under the supervision of the Cardiac Rehabilitation Manager, the Registered Dietitian collaborates with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide medical nutrition therapy to adult and geriatric patients. Responsibilities include assessing nutrition needs, identifying nutrient requirements, developing and implementing nutrition care plans, evaluating and monitoring the effectiveness of interventions, delivering nutrition education, maintaining teaching kitchen cleanliness, participating in special projects, providing nutrition lectures, conducting in‑services, and mentoring interns.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Foods and Nutrition/Dietetics and completion of an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics internship.
- Registered Dietitian (RD) credential.
- Two (2) years of experience in a hospital outpatient setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Serv Safe Food handler certification.
- Experience in Cardiac Rehabilitation or Intensive Cardiac Rehabilitation.
- Knowledge of medical nutrition therapy with integrative and functional medicine.
- Experience counseling on lifestyle modifications and nutrient analysis.
- Understanding of elimination diets, FODMAP, and food intolerances.
- Experience with EPIC EMR.

- Must be able to work various hours and locations as needed.
- Employment subject to criminal background check and pre‑employment physical.
Pay Transparency
Annual Full Pay Range: $100,934 – $100,934 (prorated if appointment percentage less than 100%). Hourly Equivalent: $48.34 – $48.34.
