What You’ll Do:- Provide Meaningful Support:
Conduct mental health assessments, individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention to help clients prepare for successful re-entry. - Build Community Connections:
Research and organize community resources, ensuring clients have the support they need for housing, employment, and more. - Mentorship and Training:
Guide graduate students and peer specialists, sharing your expertise and fostering their professional growth.
- Make a Difference:
Your work will directly impact the lives of individuals transitioning from detention, helping them achieve stability and success. - Collaborative Environment:
Work with a dedicated team of professionals who share your commitment to mental health and community support. - Professional Development:
We encourage ongoing training and provide opportunities for you to expand your skills and knowledge.
- A Master’s Degree in a relevant field and California licensure or registration.
- Valid AMFT, APCC, OR ACSW
- At least two years of experience in a substance use/mental health setting, with a focus on co-occurring disorders.
- Experience working with diverse populations, including Latinx and African American communities.
