IMMEDIATELY HIRING! Paramedic FULL-TIME Opportunity. We’re hiring Paramedics that are passionate about delivering compassionate, high-quality service and advanced patient care to our customers.

Position Summary:

The mission and purpose of this position is to compassionately deliver high-quality service and patient care in a professional and caring manner to patients in need. Successful candidates will proudly provide service to the citizens of Del Mar, Solana Beach, Encinitas, Rancho Santa Fe, El Cajon, La Mesa, Lemon Grove, Spring Valley, National City, and surrounding communities.

Sign-On Bonus with commitment — 15K for Full-Time New Hire Paramedics (Conditions apply).

• Prior paramedic experience considered for placement on wage scale

• Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action while working with progressive Paramedic protocols.
• Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures including defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced medical care.
• Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
• Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
• Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
• Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as fellow Paramedics.

• Participate in community programs to maintain AMR image and establish strong community relations.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• CA State Paramedic License
• CA State Driver’s License
• CA State Ambulance Driver's License (from DMV)
• Medical Examiner's Certificate
• Paramedic Certificate (San Diego County card)
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic
• Driving record compliant with company policy (from DMV) if contingent offer is made
• Pass Physical Agility Test (PAT)
• Some work experience, preferably healthcare

Compensation: $71k-$118k (depending on years of experience) annualized rate DOE. 12-hour shifts with daily overtime after 8 hours (42-hour work week). 24-hour shifts with weekly overtime after a 40-hour work week (56-hour work week).
