Senior Scientist – LC‑MS/MS Assay Development

Millennium Health LLC is a specialty laboratory that monitors medication usage and supports clinicians in treatment planning.

Pay Range
: $115,000 – $135,000 per year.

Responsibilities

• Lead, design, and validate high‑quality LC‑MS/MS assays within defined timelines.
• Provide scientific mentoring to the project team.
• Design experiments and complete work independently, managing multiple projects in parallel.
• Act as a technical and scientific resource across the organization.
• Draft, review, and complete technical documents for product development stages.
• Maintain detailed experiment records in lab notebooks and follow SOPs, complying with company guidelines.
• Ensure HIPAA, confidentiality, and compliance policies are always adhered to.
• Ensure administrative, physical, and technical cybersecurity controls are always adhered to.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• MS in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, or a related field (PhD preferred).
• At least 5 years of industrial experience, preferably in an R&D analytical laboratory.
• Hands‑on experience with LC‑MS techniques, including sample preparation, chromatography, method development, data interpretation, and validation.
• Familiarity with GLP and cGMP environment, LIMS experience, and project management; understanding of statistical tools desired.
• Demonstrated track record of successful development of assays/products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Strong team player in a multidisciplinary environment, fully committed to development timelines.
