Imaging Healthcare Specialists (IHS) is seeking a
Mammography Technologist to deliver compassionate, high-quality diagnostic imaging that helps physicians make accurate diagnoses and improves patient outcomes. In this role, you’ll perform mammography procedures with precision, uphold the highest safety standards, and provide an exceptional experience for every patient you serve.
- Review and verify imaging orders, patient information, and exam requests.
- Perform mammography imaging procedures while maintaining IHS standards of quality and patient care.
- Obtain and document patient medical histories and communicate with referring clinicians as needed.
- Operate imaging equipment, post-process images, and manage data through PACS systems.
- Evaluate medical information to determine risk factors and appropriateness of procedures.
- Ensure all procedures meet regulatory and quality control standards for image accuracy and safety.
- Collaborate with medical professionals regarding image-based findings.
- Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly to your supervisor.
- Support other imaging departments as needed and contribute to operational efficiency.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in Radiologic Sciences required (bachelor’s preferred).
- Current ARRT, CRT, and CPR certifications.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Mammography Technologist preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with MERGE and PACS systems a plus.
- Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to patient-centered care and professional ethics.
- Competitive pay: $47–$50/hour, based on experience
