Location: Remote (CA residents only)
Schedule: Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM PST Pay: $20/hour Type: Temp-to-Perm
Medical Case Processing Specialist
The Medical Case Processing Specialist supports healthcare case operations by accurately entering, reviewing, and maintaining medical and eligibility data while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and established procedures.
Responsibilities- Enter and update medical and eligibility data in case management systems
- Maintain and audit medical case files for accuracy and compliance
- Process incoming medical mail and faxes
- Track case status and resolve data discrepancies
- Respond to case status inquiries from external partners
- Prepare case summaries and reports as required
- High School Diploma or GED (required);
Associate’s Degree preferred - 2-3 years of healthcare or medical administrative
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe
- Typing speed of at least 40 WPM
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of HIPAA and handling PHI
