The Country Inn & Suites is seeking an energetic and detail oriented full time Laundry Attendant who is looking to be a part of our fun and dynamic work environment.

Compensation is $20.00/hour, with benefits and potential for growth into Supervisor role. Laundry Attendants are an essential part of our hotel team. In addition to cleaning and servicing guestrooms, public spaces, and laundry facilities, Laundry Attendants help build and maintain the look and image of the hotel.

Laundry Attendants will be responsible for washing, drying, folding, and preparing linens and towels daily in accordance with Country Inn & Suites standards. Laundry Attendants will ensure all guest and hotel laundry items are clean, properly handled, and ready for use while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient laundry area. Specifically, Laundry Attendants will be entrusted with the following job responsibilities:
** Responsibilities**:
* Prepares bed and bath linens
* Displays and replaces amenities and promotional materials
* Remove trash, soiled linen, etc. and take to appropriate area for pick up
* Maintains supplies necessary to clean laundry efficiently
* Utilize the proper cleaning methods to prevent injury
* Keeps supply carts stocked
* Laundry, pressing and folding, towels, linen, etc.
* Report deficiencies in hotel facilities and on guest floors to the housekeeping/engineering management team
* Ensure cleanliness of guest room hallways, elevators, public areas and service corridors in accordance with hotel standards
* Inventory and maintain the cleanliness of the linen closets and laundry room
* Project an image of professionalism, friendliness and willingness to provide personalized service to our guests
* Adhere to the hotel’s lost and found policies and procedures
* Occasionally cleans and straightens guestrooms and common areas as needed
** Requirements**:
* Must be eligible to work in the US and possess all necessary documents listed on I-9 and verified through eVerify.
* Ideal candidate will have experience working in a hotel environment that provides a superior level of guest service and professionalism
* Ability to work quickly while maintaining a close attention to detail
* Must possess the ability to handle multiple tasks at once
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to effectively communicate with department managers, team members and guests
* Must possess a strong team spirit
* Maintain high energy for long periods of time
** Physical Demands**:
* Perform repetitive hand and arm movements
* Ability to lift, pull, push up to 70 pounds on an ongoing basis
* Must be able to squat, bend, kneel and twist on an ongoing basis
* Ability to stand for long periods of time
* Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
