The Export & Sanctions Compliance Specialist will review and release physical shipment requests, enhance operations processes, conduct risk assessments, and collaborate with internal teams including Logistics, Export Compliance Liaisons, Customs, Sales, Customer Service, Program Management, and Engineering to ensure compliance with export regulations.

Job Responsibilities
  • Review and manage shipment requests (sales orders / miscellaneous shipments) that meet export compliance regulation and license requirements.
  • Conduct agile partner distribution request reviews.
  • Improve operations processes and conduct risk assessment.
  • Execute post‑shipment audit and EEI audit.
  • Maintain Export & Sanctions Compliance operations SOPs to reflect the most updated practices and regulation changes.
  • Drive operations automation projects with multiple system teams (Trade Export System, ERP, Sales Force, QSales).
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ working experience, including at least 2 years in international trade and compliance related fields; operational experience preferred.
  • Working knowledge of US, EU export control regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), US Foreign Trade Regulations, and Wassenaar Arrangement Regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Legal, International Business, Business Administration, Commerce, Computer Science, Engineering, or business‑equivalent experience.
  • Experience in telecommunications, information security, cryptography, electronics, integrated circuits, and computer export controls.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional multilateral regimes and regulations relevant to Qualcomm’s markets.
  • Familiarity with Oracle, E2

    Open, SAP, Agile, SharePoint, Sales Force, and Dow Jones search tools.
