Epsilon Systems Solutions is seeking a full-time Vertical Launch System (VLS) Technician II in San Diego, CA.
Summary:
Under minimal supervision, the employee provides direct technical support aboard submarines of the U.S. Navy Vertical Launch Systems.
- Direct, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following:
- MK41 Vertical Launching System
- MK57 Peripheral Vertical Launching System
- Provide technical support for procurement, installation, at-sea testing, preventive/corrective maintenance, and lifecycle management of systems.
- Interpret technical manuals, apply repair standards, and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
- 4+ years of related experience with MK41 and/or MK57
- MK41 VLS In‑Service Engineering Agent/Field Representative Course of Instruction (MK41 VLS ISEA/FSR) graduate
- Advanced knowledge and proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining associated systems.
- Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, system drawings, and procedural corrective and repair standards.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Ability to provide technical findings orally and/or written.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications.
The pay range for this role is $32.30-$39.50 Hourly. This is a reasonable estimate for this role. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.

- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, handling tools/equipment, and lifting of heavy objects
- Ability to go aboard submarines, and other naval craft
- Ability to move in narrow and restricted passageways, up/down steep and narrow ladders or stairways onboard ships
- Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs. in weight
- Industrial, shop environment
- Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States
