OverviewWe’re seeking a Systems Administrator to support the underlying infrastructure that powers Looq AI’s platforms, data pipelines, and R&D operations. You’ll maintain our internal systems, support hybrid cloud infrastructure, manage user and network security, and ensure the smooth operation of development and production environments.

What You’ll Do- Administer, monitor, and maintain internal servers, virtual machines, and cloud-hosted environments (primarily AWS)
- Manage user permissions, system access, and support authentication workflows across internal tools and infrastructure
- Support Dev Ops pipelines and infrastructure-as-code practices (Terraform, Git Hub Actions)
- Configure and maintain internal tools (VPN, firewalls, Docker registries, build servers, etc.)
- Collaborate with engineering teams on system requirements, backups, and deployment support
- Implement and maintain system monitoring, logging, and alerting (Cloud Watch, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)
- Support hardware asset tracking, device management (MDM), and IT policies
- Help enforce security best practices across cloud and on-prem environments
- Experience with Linux system administration (Ubuntu, Debian, etc.)
- Familiarity with AWS services: EC2, S3, IAM, EFS, Cloud Watch, etc.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools
- Proficient in scripting with Bash, Python, or Power Shell
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools, especially Git Hub Actions, Jenkins, or Git Lab CI
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals (DNS, VPNs, routing, firewalls)
- Understanding of Dev Ops principles and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform)
- Bonus:
Experience with MDM tools (Jamf, Intune), security audits, or SOC 2 compliance
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field—or equivalent experience
- 3–6 years of experience as a Systems Administrator, IT Engineer, or Dev Ops Support role
- Proactive, resourceful, and able to work independently
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Comfortable in fast‑paced startup environments with evolving priorities

CompensationBase salary ranging from $105,000 to $145,000 per year, with eligibility for stock options as part of the total compensation package.
