BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Dev Sec Ops  engineer to develop automated pipelines for data center/cloud environments and support automated build, test and release deployments.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

* Design, write and deliver Infrastructure as Code software to improve the availability, scalability, latency, and efficiency of the network

* Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for Cloud Native development

* Build automated Dev Ops pipelines using tools like Git Lab

* Develop jobs for the deployment of various artifacts that constitute an application on a container-based environment such as Docker

* Participate in development of advanced CI / CD processes to support deployments

* Participate in design and architecture discussions and build environments using Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and configuration management tools like Ansible

* Work extensively to deploy applications on Kubernetes clusters in our on-premises cloud environment

* Automate repetitive tasks to eliminate toil and drive consistency + repeatability

* Actively participate in incident response and root-cause analysis, support a blameless post-mortems culture

Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely. #SWSD Required Education, Experience, & Skills
* Must hold an active Top Secret clearance, and be eligible to obtain a Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance in the future

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering (BS) plus 8+ years relevant experience

* Experience with Cloud technologies such as Rancher, Kubernetes, Argo CD, Argo Workflow, Helm, Terraform, Jenkins, Chef, Service Mesh

* Experience using Dev Sec Ops  tools such as Git Lab, Git Ops, Bitbucket, CI/CD Pipelines, Docker, Fortify, Sonarqube, Chef/Ansible, Terraform, Nexus, Jenkins

* Experience working in a Dev Sec Ops  culture and supporting teams for Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) of containerized applications and automate orchestration using Kubernetes.

* Experience with helm charts.

* Experience with Docker and container orchestration/management tools

* Understanding of AWS cloud services

* Experience working with appropriate scripting languages and operating systems software (e.g., Power Shell, Bash)

* Basic understanding of scripting & software development packages for development of Infrastructure as Code

* Experience with Ansible, Terraform or equivalent configuration management tools

* Experience with container management and troubleshooting.

* Experience deploying enterprise scale applications to production using cloud-based infrastructure

* Should have flexibility in approach to finding solutions, ability to understand and act on the customer needs and priorities, and ability to learn new technologies quickly

* Strong team building skills that enable collaboration and coordination within and across teams and functions

* Ability to automate menial tasks

* Excellent oral and written communication skills Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
* CAC card with NGA Core experience

* Hold an active Top Secret/SCI with Poly clearance

* Security+ 8570 certification

* Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)

* Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD)

* AWS or similar Cloud Provider Experience

* Solid understanding of Message Service NATS, Kafka, Redis

* Experience using Git Lab or other CI / CD tools

* Strong Linux and Networking background

* Experience with SWIG

* Software development experience with Java Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $146670 - $249330
