100% onsite role in San Diego, CA. A customer in the pharmaceutical / biotech industry is looking to hire one tier 2 desktop support technician into their organization. Tech stack is Win
11 / M365. Ideal candidate will have 5+ years in desktop support and ideally have prior work history in the biotech space.

Responsibilities

Resolve service desk tickets at all levels in a timely and efficient manner.

Update work logs and progress and status of tickets, seeing them through to resolution.

Install Windows desktop operating systems, software, peripheral hardware devices & other desktop applications.

Provide support for phone system issues.

Provide support for conference rooms.

Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems.

Manage the on-boarding and off-boarding process for all personnel.

Track and administer licenses for enterprise-wide applications.

Prioritize and troubleshoot complex problems and provide complete solutions to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.

Promote knowledge transfer to influence positive change and strengthen team performance.

Create documentation including Knowledge Base articles and Technical Alerts.

Serve on a rotating on-call schedule which will require work after normal business hours and on weekends.

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 – $35.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
