About the Services Evangelist Team:

The Proofpoint Services Evangelist team are collaborative team players who are always willing to share their winning sales tactics with their peers. Services Evangelists at Proofpoint have a direct impact on the success of our overall organization by augmenting our best-in-class technologies with our innovative programmatic approach to customer success. Our evangelists are trusted partners, working side-by-side with our Field, Territory and Enterprise Account Managers to increase our services attach rate globally.

About the Role: Seeking an experienced and dynamic Services Evangelist to focus on how to build successful programs to Protect People and Defend Data by optimizing Proofpoint’s world-class technology solutions globally. This role will lead presales conversations, strategy sessions, and value propositions for organizations looking to operationalize Proofpoint technology solutions. You will use your deep knowledge and experience to advise customers on how they can combine people, process, and technology to achieve their Cybersecurity objectives.

This individual will be a major contributor to our aggressive plans regarding market share and positioning holistic programs to solve complex problems in the Cybersecurity space.

Your day-to-day :

• As a critical member of the Proofpoint Services Evangelist team, engage with both current customers and prospective customers in person (occasionally), by phone, and/or video conference, at your discretion.
• Conduct and lead services value conversations with internal team members as well as customers and prospects.
• Build rapport, trust and credibility with Proofpoint teammates and customers, as they will rely on your expertise and advise how to plan and move forward with major Cybersecurity initiatives.
• You may be called upon to assist in presenting in webinars and Proofpoint customer-accuracy events.
• You will be able to provide valuable customer insight and real-world experiences to services leadership and will have influence in service design, go-to-market strategy, and pricing.
• You will be an expert on Email Security, Security Awareness Training, Information Protection, and Cloud Security.
