WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE JOB:  The American Red Cross is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Salesforce QA Engineer with expertise in both manual and automation testing to join our Salesforce Quality Assurance team. The team is responsible for delivering stable, tested code/configuration to production during release windows every sprint for the Training Services Salesforce instance.
The Training Services Salesforce environment is a combination of multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, etc.) and integrations that come together to serve the larger American Red Cross organization through the delivery of First Aid, CPR and AED training and products.
The ideal candidate will have hands on experience with an Automation testing tool for Salesforce applications, ensuring that our critical systems run smoothly across multiple sandboxes. This role will contribute to testing efforts for various projects, including integration, regression, and performance testing, and will play a key part in ensuring that our Salesforce based applications meet high quality standards.

** The work location for this exciting opportunity is virtual. The selected candidate will work 100% remotely from home and can be located anywhere in the United States with a preference to work East Coast hours. This position also needs to be available to support monthly releases that occur around 8pm-10pm EST.
** WHERE YOUR CAREER IS A FORCE FOR GOOD (Key Responsibilities):  
• Perform manual and automated testing of Salesforce applications across various sandboxes (development, QA, staging, and production).  
• Design, write, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing.  
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to identify and prioritize test scenarios.  
• Conduct end to end testing for Salesforce customizations and configurations, including Visualforce pages, Lightning components, and integrations.  
• Report and track bugs/defects, ensuring timely resolution and retesting as necessary.  
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks in (preferably
- Accelq), ensuring efficient test execution and reporting.  
• Participate in sandbox management, including coordinating testing efforts across different environments.  
• Contribute to continuous improvements in test processes and methodologies to improve quality and efficiency.  
• Prepare and present test reports, metrics, and dashboards to stakeholders.  
• Ensure testing activities comply with Red Cross quality and security standards.
