Assisting with various user issues, deploying new laptops to users, monitoring systems and backups as well as troubleshooting issues with our server environment.
Supervisory Responsibilities:- None
- Serve as the first point of contact for users seeking technical assistance.
- Determine the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers.
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel.
- Record events and problems and their resolution in logs.
- Follow-up and update customer status and information.
- A passion for technology and some hands-on experience with computers is required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills are required.
- The ability to work well with both business and technical users is required.
- Experience working at a help desk or computer lab would be ideal.
- Perform remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions.
Bachelor's degree is preferred.
Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
