Key Responsibilities – Oracle EPM / Hyperion
- Work closely with business stakeholders to analyze and clearly document business requirements, processes, functional requirements, and business rules.
- Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy solutions using Oracle EPM EPBCS, EPM Free Form, Hyperion Planning, Essbase, EDMCS, Narrative Reporting, and related Oracle EPM technologies.
- Create and maintain Planning forms, business rules, calculation scripts, task lists, dashboards, reports, Smart View templates, and other EPM artifacts.
- Develop and maintain Essbase calculation scripts, member formulas, allocations, aggregations, and data load processes.
- Design and develop EPM Automate scripts, MaxL scripts, shell scripts, and batch scripts to automate operational and administrative activities.
- Develop and maintain EPM integrations using Data Integration, Data Exchange, Data Management, EPM Agents, and other Oracle integration capabilities.
- Configure and maintain EDMCS applications, viewpoints, hierarchies, subscriptions, validations, requests, and metadata integrations with EPBCS and other systems.
- Support metadata management activities, including member creation, hierarchy maintenance, validation, and metadata synchronization across source and target systems.
- Troubleshoot application, calculation, data load, metadata, integration, and reporting issues.
- Support production deployments, application migrations, release activities, and post-production validation.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement to improve application stability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Establish and maintain data standards, naming conventions, consistent data definitions, and data quality controls.
- Monitor and audit data quality to ensure data is accurate, complete, consistent, and reliable for operational and strategic decision-making.
