Seeking a detail-oriented and people-focused Site Moderator / Data Collection Specialist to support onsite participant studies and technology-assisted data collection. The candidate will guide participants, operate data collection equipment, maintain accurate records, and follow established privacy and study procedures.

• Welcome participants, complete check-in, and verify required documentation.
• Explain study procedures and guide participants through structured sessions.
• Follow study protocols, checklists, and SOPs to ensure consistent execution.
• Monitor sessions, document outcomes, and ensure data/files/records are accurate and complete.
• Set up and operate mobile devices, cameras, sensors, tablets, and related equipment
  .
• Perform basic technical troubleshooting and elevate issues when required.
• Assist with site setup, equipment inventory, scheduling, and participant flow.
• Handle participant information with appropriate confidentiality and privacy.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year experience in customer service, research support, field operations, healthcare, events, data collection, laboratory support, or administration.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic technical aptitude and ability to learn new tools/equipment quickly.
• Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow processes.
• Ability to work onsite in San Diego with schedule flexibility.
