The ideal candidate possesses a strong sales mentality, a desire to succeed, and good organizational/interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus. This is an in-office position.

• Assist customers with various insurance needs (new policies, editing existing policies, payments, renewals, reinstatements, and answering questions).
• Inspect vehicles to determine acceptable insurance risk.
• Seek out new clients, generate prospect lists, and develop clientele through networking and marketing. Work with the office manager to create marketing strategies.
• Perform administrative tasks, handle policy renewals, and contact underwriting to complete policies.
• Maintain daily housekeeping routines.

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Customer service or insurance sales experience (preferred but not required).
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required.
• Valid California Personal Lines or Property & Casualty license (highly preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation for daily marketing.
• Basic computer knowledge and strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and learn company software quickly.
• Completion of continuing education courses (paid by A-MAX) as required to maintain active license status.
