Business Process Lead - Sourcing
- Fully Onsite, Monday-Friday
- Pay: $120,000-$155,000
Required Skills & Experience
- 7-10 years of sourcing experience in a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of experience creating and implementing processes, training within supply chain
- 5+ years of experience acting as a project manager within supply chain
- Familiar with strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and risk assessment.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Master s Degree
- APICS/ASCM certified
- PMP
Job Description
A gas turbine company is looking for a Sourcing Specialist Business Process Lead to join their team. This person will play a strategic role within the Supply Chain and Logistics function. They will be creating and implementing processes and training for the entire supply chain organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Strategic Supply Chain Support:
Facilitates integration between procurement and facility support teams to ensure supply chain excellence. - Process Improvement:
Identifies, defines, and implements supply chain solutions to improve performance and efficiency. - Cross-functional Collaboration:
Builds internal and external partnerships to explore sourcing opportunities and best practices. - Risk Assessment & Business Proposals:
Evaluates the soundness of sourcing strategies and assesses associated risks. - Benchmarking & Metrics:
Investigates industry standards to develop optimal supply chains and improve supplier performance. - Data Analysis:
Uses data to prioritize cost-effective supply chain improvements, inventory utilization, and business partnerships.
