Job Duties

• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver product by car and to the customer’s door, delivering flyers and door hangers.

• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record that meets company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.
• Must pass a background check and have open availability.

Orientation and training are provided on the job.

Ability to understand and give correct written instructions; communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders over the phone and in person; ability to train and lead.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator). Must make correct monetary change. Verbal, written, and telephone skills to take and process orders. Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate, and precise movements. Enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen. Maintain cost controls.

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions while removing trash and performing other outside tasks. In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F+ in some work areas, with sudden temperature changes occurring both indoors and outdoors.

Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces/tools up to 500°F or higher, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.

Physical requirements:

standing for most tasks; walking on varied surfaces; lifting bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds; carrying trays and supplies; pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, and reaching as required.
