Telecom Construction Supervisor , San Diego

Team Fishel, the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is looking to hire a Telecom Supervisor (Aerial and Underground) for our San Diego, CA location. The Supervisor position will be responsible for leading field crews to meet project goals in a safe manner. This position is also responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations and job completion of assigned telecom projects, in both Aerial Telecom and Underground Telecom markets.

The wage range for this position is $34.00 to $38.00 an hour depending on skills, experience, and qualifications.

• Identify and develop new customers
• Organizing materials, equipment, and labor
• Providing all required job reporting
• Completing as-builts and redlines
• Work the job to bring in under estimated cost
• Manage change order and progress billing
• Communicate job status with customer, be responsive to requests
• Ensure safety practices are observed by all crews
• Reports, coordinates and supervises all aspects of a project
• May work independently performing site surveys for estimates, proposal preparation, or quality assurance
• Evaluate Teammate's performance and develop a plan for increasing growth and responsibility
• Document Teammate counseling, warning, and terminations

• Previous utility construction leadership experience is required
• Ability to travel
• Must have experience in Utility construction and Network Installation
• Experience in contract management, change orders and unit price schedules etc.
• Ability to interpret construction drawings and create as-builds
• Must have computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office applications
• Valid Driver's License
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel
