Summary
You will serve as a RIGGER SUPERVISOR I in the DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY to include work sites of Portsmouth Naval Shipyard, Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Norfolk Naval Shipyard, Trident Refit Facility Bangor and Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility.
OverviewApplication Dates: 10/14/2025 to 10/13/2026.
Salary: $36.59 to $59.52 per hour.
Duties- You will assign, direct, and review the work of subordinates.
- You will plan, schedule, and coordinate work operations.
- You will inspect completed work for quality and work order requirements.
- You will coordinate work with supporting or related work functions controlled by other supervisors.
Applicants must demonstrate through experience and training that they possess the quality level of knowledge and skill necessary to perform the duties of the position at the level for which you are applying.

- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
- Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.

- Must successfully complete a pre‑appointment physical examination.
- Must wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators, and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- Must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
