Packaging Technician I - Basic Lab Exp is Required at Millennium Soft Inc

Location:

San Diego, CA

Job Type: Contract on W2; 40 hours/week;
First shift;
Work hours M-F 9-5pm;
Steel-toed shoes required

• The Packaging Technician I is responsible for performing routine bottling, labeling, and packaging processes according to established procedures and work instructions.
• The individual must be able to read, understand, and complete all packaging documentation including batch records, standard operating procedures and/or work instructions, and material processing requests.
• Possess basic computer and analytical skills.
• Work in a fast-paced, diverse, team-oriented environment.
• Follow all department guidelines and procedures and client Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) policies and procedures; take responsibility for safety in the immediate work area and report hazardous conditions or unsafe practices.
• Support labeling equipment operation and the packaging supplies and material management functions including storing, retrieving, and staging supplies/materials as required.
• Meet daily/weekly/monthly departmental production objectives with a high degree of quality.
• Input packaging data as required in SAP or other Production Planning/Manufacturing Resource systems.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

• High school Diploma or GED; a minimum of 0-2 years of relevant experience required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
• Fundamental computer skills; ability to perform basic math calculations.
• Good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Proficient in learning new tasks and methods.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
