GMP Cleaner - On-Call - 3rd Shift

The GMP Cleaner is responsible for maintaining rigorous Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) during routine cleaning, sanitation, and auditing of production and facility spaces. Responsibilities include equipment cleaning, waste removal, record keeping, and compliance with FDA and SOP requirements.

• Perform and maintain a high level of Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) through the cleaning and sanitation of processing equipment, utensils, and the facility.
• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Participate in training on sanitization disinfectants and equipment.
• Understand chemical safety, handling, dilution, and usage.
• Empty, clean, and remove all waste receptacles; dispose of recyclables, perishables, and biohazard materials to the designated area.
• Vacuum and sanitize floors, drains, walls, ceilings, and shelves using appropriate tools.
• Maintain records and data tracking following Good Documentation Practices (GDP); complete the designated sanitation schedule.
• Sanitize machines and components using chemicals, high‑pressure hoses, spraying, and scrubbing.
• Clean under tacky mats and change them as needed.
• Follow all sanitation procedures to ensure SOP and FDA compliance.
• Practice GDP, recording cleaning times, chemical dates, and lot numbers.
• May train new employees.
• Perform additional duties as identified and assigned.

• Possess experience in a manufacturing, aerospace, or pharmaceutical environment that values collaboration and teamwork.
• Show willingness to accomplish routine work and adapt to unexpected situations with limited supervision.
• Maintain a focus on safety and quality for yourself and others.
• Understand the importance of effective record‑keeping and following procedures.

• No makeup, nail polish, or jewelry may be worn in GMP process areas.
• Must wear a clean room (bunny suit) during the entire shift.
• Stand/walk for most of the work shift.
• One year in sanitation within a GMP environment or aerospace is preferable.
• Customer‑service orientation and professionalism.
• Self‑starter, motivated team player capable of prioritizing tasks.
• Highly organized with excellent record‑keeping abilities.
• Ability to accept change and work in a team‑based environment.
• Handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Read and communicate in English sufficiently to understand operating procedures and label instructions.
• Work at different heights, climb ladders and stairs, and assemble/disassemble equipment.
