Cleanroom Technician Miramar - 1st Shift - $18.75/hr Job Description

Support daily production and packaging activities in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and all related standard operating procedures (SOPs). Work towards achieving assigned production goals and meet unscheduled peaks in workload to ensure timely product release and avoid back orders. Collaborate with the team to detail critical raw materials, in-process procedures and specifications while addressing corrective actions for technical problems related to raw materials and finished products.

Responsibilities
  • Perform in-process quality checks on sub‑assemblies and finished products.
  • Address line issues and other production problems promptly, notifying the Team Leader or supervisor of required corrective actions.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and related SOPs.
  • Utilize computerized Materials Resource Planning (MRP) inventory system to report lot‑controlled ingredients on batch records.
  • Contribute to achieving production goals and addressing unscheduled workload peaks.
Essential Skills
  • Understanding of cleanroom production, GDP, and SOPs.
  • Ability to give detailed examples of SOP usage in previous roles.
  • Proficiency in machine operation and multitasking.
  • Experience in quality assurance, packaging, and inspection.
  • Capability in computer operation and DHR management.
Additional

Skills & Qualifications
  • At least two years of previous assembly/packaging experience.
  • Previous experience in regulated medical device manufacturing or pharmaceutical environments preferred.
  • Familiarity with GDP, GMP, GLP, FDA, and ISO standards.
  • Knowledge of qualification and validation trials is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems preferred.

Work Environment

This role offers a shift from 6 am to 2:30 pm. The dress code requires pants, leggings prohibited, and no makeup or lipstick. Necklaces must be tucked in, and side shields are necessary for glasses. The environment can be loud, and ear protection is provided. Headphones and cell phone use on the manufacturing floor are not allowed. Reliability is crucial to prevent process bottlenecks.

Flexibility for overtime, including some mandatory shifts, is required, with prior notice given. Experience with SAP and the ability to manage work orders are advantageous.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of San Diego, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $18.75/hr.
