Welder​/Fabricator

Description

To perform all kinds of welding, fabrication, sawing, and cutting using gas and electric TIG/MIG welding equipment.

• May be assigned to dismantle or cut up obsolete machinery, setting aside parts for scrap dealer.
• Other Duties as assigned.

• The worker is subject to inside environmental conditions: protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
• The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
• Sedentary workbeing and lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or otherwise moving objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time; walking and standing are required only occasionally.
• Fingering: picking, pinchingילים, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers rather than with a whole hand or arm.
• Talking: expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word; those activities where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed accurately, haddly, or quickly.
• Hearing: perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminations in sound.
