Responsibilities include reading specifications, interpreting shipboard drawings, and fabricating or repairing metal structures using ARC and gas welding equipment. Travel to multiple US shipyards and Navy ports is possible; candidates must be US citizens eligible for clearance and able to pass background investigations.
